Let’s dive into Day 1 - THE DANCER FIT CORE
Today we’re going to do a simple 7 minute beginners core workout that will kickstart your flat-abs campaign and get your core as tight as my favourite pair of leather pants. (They’re pretty tight.)
Why do we start with the core?
Dancers need to be stable and balanced so a strong core is essential - it’s also essential for us so we can stay mobile, pain free and to make us feel tighter and toned from the inside out.
You might think you need to spend hours doing crunches to get a strong core but in fact, you can see real results in just a few minutes a day with the right exercises, so don’t let lack of time stop you! All you need is a mat.
