Confession….I am a huge Britney fan. There. I said it. Now that’s out in the open let’s move on….
Love her or hate her, the Britney era inspired my love of dancing. I was 19 when Baby One More Time came out and I wanted to be a Britney backing dancer so badly! I even knew all the moves from the video.
Good news if you’re NOT a Britney fan, I’m not going to make you do the dance today, but instead, we’re going to be firing up the metabolism with a HIIT workout that targets the core and rapidly increases your fitness levels fast.
This is your chance to sculpt long lean muscles and tone up without any equipment in just 10 minutes. I know we’ve all got ten minutes and trust me, after this workout you’ll feel amazing!!! You’ll be energised, uplifted and feeling uber-smug about having checked off your daily workout on that checklist.
My beginners tip: Most people get HIIT wrong. They either do a workout so intense that they never want to do it again, or...they don’t push hard enough so they don’t get the benefit.
In your workout today I want you to be hot and sweaty and out of breath, but without making yourself feel like hell! If you need to rest during the workout, rest until you can do for it again. This workout is low impact, which means there’s no jumping but try to get your heart rate pumping. Try to find that sweet spot where talking is tough but you can carry on.

Now if you need help I’m going to dive in on FB live and talk about the reason why you might not be getting results from your workout program and what to do about it but I wanted to dig into it in writing here.
The truth? Most people aren’t where they want to be because they aren’t consistent and they aren’t consistent because they don’t have a plan and the right support to make the plan happen.
Without knowing what to do each day and how to do it, it’s overwhelming, we focus our energy on the wrong things, stop seeing results, feel disheartened and give up.
The other thing that stops us living better is being busy. We all have full lives so when we’re trying to get to that class on the other side of town, but our meeting ran late, or the kids had an activity, we miss it...then the same thing happens next week...then we give up and order pizza.
There’s a simple solution to this but most people don’t see it. I don’t want you to get stuck at this hurdle, so join me live and we’ll bust the myth fast!
