CORIO BRINGS DANCE CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS TO FLEX IN HONG KONG
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect beginner-friendly dance fitness program to hit Asia then wait no more...Corio has teamed up with Hong Kong powerhouse Pilates studio, Flex in Central and Wong Chuk Hang, to showcase 4 weeks of our signature Body and Tone dance fitness classes.
Forget Zumba...Corio’s style is more likely to be seen on an A-lister who loves the likes of Body By Simone or Anna Kaiser. A hybrid of barre toning, HIIT circuits, dance cardio and functional fitness training, the Corio Method gives clients all the tools they need to completely transform their body while loving the process!
“Like many women, I decided to get 'back' into shape after the birth of my two children, but I couldn't relate to what the fitness and wellness industry was offering.” says Corio founder Elle Kealy.
“After completing an intense 12 week transformation program at a local gym it seemed I had to become a kale-loving, smoothie obsessed gym-junkie to get results, that just wasn’t for me! I needed to find a way to make this work in real life and ultimately, I wanted to enjoy the process and wake up feeling inspired by the journey. I started training myself the same way I trained my private clients, blending all the best parts from my dance background with the science of fitness and that’s how Corio was born!”
She ended up using her dance background to create a system that blended her love of dance-based movement with fitness principles and high-level practical nutrition coaching to offer private clients a unique personal training method that got results and put a smile on their face. Now, two of the main workouts from the 5 pillar method are available at Flex until the end of August 2017.
She adds, “Corio isn’t about learning to dance like a ballerina or nailing the moves, instead it’s about regaining lost confidence, striving to fulfill your potential in life and igniting the seed inside you that believes if you set your mind to something, you can achieve it.”
