Non Dairy Low Sugar Hot Chocolate: THE BEST Craving Killer

Yep...you're 2 days into your new plan for an utterly fabulous, confident and sexy as hell YOU. But then...the enthusiasm that got you this far (a whole day without bread!) starts to wane and the cravings kick in. What's a woman to do? No chocolate is like....torture...!
Good news, you can easily fight back from cravings using cocoa, a powerhouse of a food that's full of feel-good compounds such as phenyethlamine (PEA, responsible for releasing endorphins and boosts dopamine levels), serotonin, tyramine and anandamide.
The result? A feel good party in your brain that also acts as an antidepressant. Want more reasons to eat this choco-flava superstart? It's full of magnesium which helps you recover and rest and fibre too.

Raw Organic Cocoa, if possible, (no 'milkshake' powders) - why? Processed cocoa can amplify the effects of caffeine that might trigger headaches and non-organic could have higher levels of heavy metals that don't support your metabolism.
I use this hot chocolate drink as a snack (it's about 80cal per serving, roughly so don't go knocking back 5 a day) and as a 'treat' for my kids who aren't ready to embrace nut milks yet.
2 tbsp raw organic cocoa powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other non- dairy milk)
1 tsp stevia (optional)
1 twist vanilla or cinnamon (optional)
Blend everything and heat on the stove or in the microwave for 1 minute in a large mug.
